Intention of the brand symbol

In Japan, a traditional dimensional ratio of 1:2 has been adopted over the centuries. This derived from the traditional aesthetic sense and lifestyle wisdom nurtured over the history of the country, and has been used for the grid size of the TATAMI mat and SHOJI paper sliding door. This brand symbol was designed after a seal having this ratio, and its red color evokes the image of Japan and vermillion ink-pads. The design is symbolic, eliminating extreme emotions, since its role is to support and bring out the best of the local products, services and brands, which are the main players.
